Meet Tammy!

As an all-volunteer-run organization, we could not serve Des Moines area pets and their parents without the support of amazing volunteers.

Meet Tammy Crall, The Pet Project’s current Board President! Tammy first heard about our work years ago through a colleague and started volunteering with the fundraising committee — and has been hooked ever since!

We asked Tammy about one of her most memorable moments volunteering:

“One weekend, a woman came in who had never had to ask for any help her whole life. Her company filed for bankruptcy and immediately closed, leaving her in a very uncomfortable situation of not knowing if she would even get a paycheck for work completed. She came in and we got her set up on the program and she cried with joy at the relief she felt! It was so heartwarming to give her that peace.”
